Suniel Shetty’s Father Virappa Shetty
Suniel Shetty's father, Virappa Shetty, died at 1.30 am
Wednesday morning at the age of 93.
According to media reports, Veerappa Shetty was not staying
well and was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai. But before any
treatment could take place, he passed away. Soon Twitterati offered condolences
after the disappearance of Veerappa Shetty.
Celebrities of Bollywood have begun to come to the funeral
of Veerappa Shetty at the Worli Crematorium in Mumbai. The stars of the b-city
Sonu Sood, megastar Amitabh Bachchan with son Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff,
Sooraj Pancholi and others have already reached for the final rites.
As some of the family members were out of the country, the
funeral took place today. Some of the relatives of the United States have
arrived today, while Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty has also arrived
here from London, where she was filming for her upcoming Mubarakaan film.
Veerappa Shetty had suffered a massive paralytic stroke in
2013. Apparently, Suniel Shetty had in a short time established an intensive
care unit at her residence in southern Mumbai for her father. The actor shared
a very special bond with his dad and always addressed his father as his true
hero.
